  • Since Spore was released over the weekend, one can only imagine the number of creations that have come into existence. A quick summery of the game for those of you that have never even heard of the game (Which means you have never been a part of the internet and video games in your life).  You begin life as a small organism after a meteor crash lands on a planet. There you start your life growing and evolving to where you make it to the surface of the planet. Always growing, always evolving as you make your way into a tribal, civilization and the icing of the game, space exploration.

    One of the bigger draws to the game is the fact that you can customize every aspect of your creature and civilization (Buildings, vehicles, and space shuttle) and give it your own color schemes.

    Not sure how many of you have had the opportunity to play with this bad boy. If you’ve always had an idea in your mind of the dominant species perfect creature, than this is just the toy for you to play with and express your idea. It’s a free download to try the trial, I’m unsure what the full version features, so I can only imagine it opens up some more customization. However what you are given is pretty decent to play around with and get an understanding of what the game will do. With the program you’re able to take photo’s, video’s, see what the off spring will look like, and how your creature works when animated.

    I toyed around with it, and I must say my creation is now where near as good as others I’ve seen (just check out the video below! It’s freak’n Bowser!) However this is what I created on my first attempt, I named him Phesphor:)
